Wednesday Outing Club

Hopefully, by the time you get this newsletter we will have lots of nice snow for skiing and snowshoeing.   Outing Club will take advantage of all the wonderful forests and trails that we have here in New England for winter activities.  Lunch will either be at a local restaurant or by the trail with your home-packed goodies,    as announced prior to each outing.   If you prefer not to eat out, you can certainly bring your own on any trip.     Please call the office after 3 PM on Tuesday or check your email after 3 PM for the outing location.   Activity fee is $5 unless otherwise stated.  Car pool fee is determined according to destination. With the continuing fluctuations in gas prices, the transportation fee may be increased depending on our destination.   Most trips are two levels.

Outing Club leaves from the parking lot behind BAM (Books A Million – formerly Borders) on Ft. Eddy Rd at 9 AM unless otherwise stated.

Note:  If weather is not good for an Outing on Wednesday, but Friday looks good, we will schedule our outing for Friday, and leave from behind BAM at 9:45 AM.

Friday Outing Club

As long as the snow allows us, we will snowshoe and ski on Friday, leaving from behind Borders at 9:45 AM.  Activity fee and transportation fee will apply.  Lunch will be out unless otherwise advised.  Call the office after 3 PM on Thursday to get the latest plan.  We will also email members with the latest information on Thursday afternoon.  We do have some extra snowshoes. If you think you’d like to try it, give us a call and make sure a pair is available.
